Osmosis is a natural process by which the walls of living cells allow only selected materials to pass through them. Reverse osmosis is the process in which ordinary tap water is forced through a membrane to produce water that is clean, clear and tastes great. The Aqua 2000 Orion Advanced 5 is the result of looking at Reverse Osmosis in a whole new way. As a result, this system stands apart from all others.
The design of the Advanced 5 incorporates features normally found only on Commercial RO units. Gauges that monitor water pressure and tank pressure give the owner a better understanding of what is taking place in the system itself. It also aids in servicing the equipment and analyzing components.
The post filter utilizes advanced carbon which is based on formulations used by NASA for space flights. This carbon is designed to remove the widest possible array of compounds from water.
